Lakeside’s tutoring program provides the student an advocate who works with their classroom teachers and their parents to meet their educational needs, every day! This benefits parents with more precise communication than is available from a tutoring service or after school program that is not part of their student’s current school. Students are also offered a daily Resource class where they receive help with organizational skills, study skills, writing and reading strategies, as well as a quick prep for any quiz or test scheduled that day. A tutoring program integrated with daily resource classes provides students with significantly more structure than is available in outside tutoring service.
