Private Christian Schools
Christian Schools Clearwater, Pinellas and Tampa
{Lakeside Christian School was established in 1975 to offer parents a place their students could receive a high quality education and be taught God’s Word in a safe, Christian school environment}
Unlike many Christian Schools who specialize in elementary or high school, our Christian school is K-12 to offer families an educational option for their entire family. While some Christian Schools have closed enrollment, our Christian school offers open enrollment for families who desire their student be educated in an environment where God’s Word permeates the entire educational process. The educational professionals at our Christian school are degreed and accredited. All profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and live to glorify Him through their service to our students.
The focus of our academics and programs are centered on the following tenets.
- We proclaim the supremacy of Christ (Hebrews 1) – Jesus Christ is both Lord and Savior of all who repent of their sins placing their full faith and trust in Him. Our Christian school teaches students what the Bible says about Christ and what Christ requires of those who profess they are Christians.
- We place all authority in Scripture (2Tim 3:16) – Our Christian school teaches that the Scriptures are God’s Word, from Genesis to Revelation, every word inspired by God teaching of the origin of life and how to live for God.
- We pursue Educational Excellence (1Cor 10:31) – Our Christian school’s goal is to bring God glory through delivering quality in all of our school programs. We practice a continuous improvement model that inspects, corrects, and improves our abilities to do our utmost in meeting the educational needs of every student. Curriculums are chosen for research proven effectiveness and technology is used daily to enhance the educational product. Our Christian school is accredited by ACSI, SACS, and NILD.
- We exist to display Christ’s love for people to our community. (1Cor 13) – Lakeside continues to add programs designed to meet real needs. While most Christian schools claim to focus on just the best and brightest Christian students, our Christian school does that and more. Our Lakeside Learning Solutions programs seek to provide hope and recovery for students who find learning difficult. Scholarship programs make our Christian school affordable for low income families in our community. The Youth Ministry of Lakeside Community Chapel is integrated into our Christian school placing Youth Pastor’s on premises.
