Lakeside Learning Solutions, Homeschool Program, is an academic partnership between Lakeside Christian School, Inc. of Clearwater Florida, and parents of Clearwater, Pinellas and Tampa area homeschool students. Our Homeschool Program provides a unique opportunity to create a customized approach that fills gaps some parents find in their current homeschool program. Services offered by Lakeside Learning Solutions include standardized testing, middle and high school academic courses, transcript maintenance, academic diagnostic testing, learning disability resources, FHSAA and FCAPPS team sports, plus arts and drama.

Lakeside Christian School offers a quality academic program accredited by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools), ACSI (Association of Christian Schools, Intl.), and NILD (National Association of Learning Development). Students at Lakeside have won recent state and national competitions in high school math and arts. Our Homeschool Program allows a parent to choose just one course annually to receive many other complimentary services. Parents may choose from a variety of courses to augment their student’s current homeschool program. Middle school courses in language arts, math, sciences, computer, social studies, Bible, and the Arts, challenge students for high school preparation. Middle school age students may take advanced placement test to qualify for early high school credit in math, science, computer, health and personal fitness, and foreign languages. Lakeside offers annual testing utilizing Pre-ACT testing providing focused feedback of your child’s preparedness for high school. All courses are held in classrooms utilizing integrated technology and excellent curriculums. Teachers are certified and trained to deliver lessons that meet a variety of learning styles. Interactive whiteboards provide students with visual, auditory and kinesthetic approaches to learning. Parents receive daily communications regarding their student’s grades, homework and school activities. Sports opportunities include soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball, and cheerleading. Varsity football is optional for 8th grade boys depending on skill and ability.

High school course choices include the following. {Pre-algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus and calculus, Integrated Science, Physics, Biology I & II, Chemistry, Anatomy, US History, World History, World Geography, American Government, Economics, Bible I-II- III & IV, English 9- 10- 11- 12, Drama, Art I & II, Computer, Graphic Arts, Personal Fitness and Health., Spanish or French I-II-III., SAT & ACT Prep, Critical Reading and Critical Writing. Varsity Sports opportunities are offered for any student enrolled in at least one high school credit course}

Tuition is per course enrolled and payments are made in 10- monthly installments. The cost of the first course includes registration, books, transcript maintenance, 3-Uniform Polo shirts, annualized test fee and one sports fee. Parents may enroll in as many courses as they desire to achieve a customized schedule that meets their student’s needs. Lakeside will maintain student transcripts including home school courses. Homeschool Program students may participate in all school programs offered such as Football Homecoming and Junior-Senior Prom.

Students enrolled in Lakeside Learning Solutions Homeschool Program have additional opportunity to benefit from Educational Therapy designed for students with diagnosed learning disabilities. Students with reading struggles causing them to be significantly behind in grade-level reading ability can find specific solutions providing recovery. Resource staff and Therapists in Lakeside Learning Solutions programs are trained and accredited by the National Institute of learning Development.
